National Patient Safety Awareness Week

Patient Safety Awareness Week is an annual recognition event that occurs in March and intended to encourage learning more about our Operation Smile care delivery safety. This will be Operation Smiles fifth year recognizing and highlighting the importance of patient safety in our day-to-day program activities. During this week, 10-16 March Operation Smile seeks to advance important discussions locally and globally to inspire action of improving the safety of healthcare delivery for our partners, staff, patients, and dedicated volunteer workforce. Patient Safety Awareness Week serves as a dedicated time and platform for growing awareness about patient safety and recognizing the work already being done.
