Plastic Surgery

Dr. Stuart Bade is Chief of Surgery at the Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, Australia, and is an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland. After completing Plastic Surgery training, Dr. Bade undertook two further years of pediatric plastic surgery fellowship training at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, and at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Bade is passionate about advancing improvements in cleft care delivery and education globally. He has volunteered with Operation Smile for many years and is a member of the Medical Advisory Committee for Operation Smile Australia.

Dr. Bade is currently the President of the Australasian Cleft Lip and Palate Association and is looking forward to welcoming the global cleft community to Brisbane for the 16th International Cleft Congress in 2029.
